About the job LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) ```Duties:```- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical information.- Assist with medical procedures such as wound care, suture removal, and specimen collection.- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.- Perform case management duties, including coordinating referrals and follow-up care.- Provide occupational health services, including physical examinations and health assessments.- Assist in the development and implementation of health promotion programs.- Provide basic life support in emergency situations.```Requirements:```- Valid LPN license in the state of (Location).- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as Athenahealth.- Knowledge of medical documentation standards and practices.- Familiarity with case management principles and practices.- Experience in occupational health is a plus.- Ability to perform physical examinations and health assessments.- Basic life support certification required.- Knowledge of coding systems (e.g., ICD-10) is desirable.- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
