Position: Perm - Ultrasound Technologist (Inpatient) - Echo or VascularPosition Summary:Our client is seeking experienced and dedicated Ultrasound Technologists, specializing in either Cardiac, Vascular, or General areas, to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will perform complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures in various units, including emergency and trauma, surgical units, critical care units, and with outpatients. The Ultrasound Technologist will play a crucial role in optimizing imaging exams on critical patients and ensuring adherence to industry, Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in assigned areas, specializing in either Cardiac, Vascular, or General.Operate a variety of sophisticated ultrasonic imaging units and reading/reporting systems.Keep current on technological advances within the ultrasound imaging field.Review images for identification, technique, and completeness according to governing bodies' standards.Act as a role model and professional resource to patients, physicians, peers, and the general public.Provide training to new department staff members and sonography students.Participate in educational sessions, contributing technical and professional knowledge.Collaborate in the accreditation and re-accreditation application process for each respective modality.Perform other duties or assignments as requested by the department supervisor.Qualifications:BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.Completion of PGY1 training.Minimum of 3 years of experience in BMT/Oncology.Active registry with either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS, RVS) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS, RVT, RDCS).AHA BLS certification within sixty (60) days of employment.Minimum Requirements:Minimum one-year clinical experience in the respective department.Salary and Benefits:Salary range based on experience: $38-52/hr.Our client offers a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a competitive compensation package.
