Position Summary
Responsible for a variety of transactional support including cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounting & reconciliations.
Essential Functions
-Performs daily cash management activities including general ledger and patient posting, cash transfers and reconciliation.
-Prepares and makes bank deposits.
-Prepares various month end closing and reporting processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
-Generates and reviews monthly reports.
-Assists with preparation for annual audits.
-Ensures compliance with internal accounting procedures.
-Performs administrative and other tasks as needed.
-Follows and adheres to TRMC vaccine policy(s) mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
Work Experience
-One to three years of experience working with accounts receivable and accounts payable preferred.
-Experience with ERP software suites preferred.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word preferred.
Education
-Bachelor's degree in accounting or 3 years of accounting experience preferred.
