A Cook/Dietary Aide's primary responsibility is to be responsible, reliable, attentive, and positive towards our residents as an aide, as well as cook, prepare, and serve meals for our residents. Responsibilities and PurposeSet up the dining room and serve residentsAssist the cook team in the preparation and service of meals and beverages using specific proceduresMaintain strict sanitation and quality standardsStore food safely and hygienically while working to prevent food spoilageAccurately record meals served and monitor food temperaturesClean assigned dining and food preparation areas using mandated procedures and following set schedulesWash dishes and utensils according to the required standards of practiceOther responsibilities as assignedDesired Experience and EducationMust have or obtain Food Handler's Card (We can help with this!)Training is provided.Experience in a long-term care environment preferred.BenefitsWe offer competitive pay relative to experience.
