About the role
We're looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to support our global tax strategy and compliance efforts. In this critical role, you'll help implement tax initiatives, ensure adherence to domestic and international tax regulations, and contribute to optimizing our overall tax position as we continue to grow worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Implement tax strategies that align with the company's goals, factoring in both domestic and international tax considerations.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, including sales tax, VAT/GST, and transfer pricing.
- Oversee the preparation of all tax related documentation, including reporting to our parent company for Pillar II compliance.
- Support tax accounting tasks such as reconciliations between financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Conduct tax research and provide insights on special projects and evolving tax matters.
- Manage communications with tax authorities, lead responses to audits and inquiries, and help resolve any issues.
- Maintain transfer pricing policies and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Partner with teamsincluding Finance, Legal, Enterprise, Product, and Revenueto offer tax insights on strategic projects.
- Stay informed on changes to tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, proactively advising the team on their possible effects.
- Assess and improve tax processes to ensure they remain accurate, efficient, and compliant.
This hybrid role reports to the Director of Accounting. We're currently hiring for candidates based in either our Los Angeles or Dallas offices.
About You
- 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting firm or in-house tax department.
- Working knowledge in VAT/GST and transfer pricing
- Solid knowledge of domestic and international tax regulations and standards.
- Comfortable working with tax software and ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyrolls Total Rewards offerings for employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, employer matched retirement savings, time-off programs, and progressive health benefits and perks.
