EOE Come join our team today! ****No Recruiters/Staffing Companies****We are seeking a per diem Ultrasonographer to work 8-hour shifts on an as-needed basis. This position will: Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures that include but are not limited to: breast, abdominal, pelvic, abdominal vascular, small parts and OB (high volume of the latter) Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups Provide technical support and ensure efficient operation of the Ultrasound department Be responsible for staying current with Ultrasound skills and new developments in the field Work at all Beloit Health System Locations, including Beloit Hospital, Beloit Clinic and NorthPointe Health and Wellness Will work call rotation and must be able to respond within 40 minutes when on call Education Required: Minimum of graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Work Experience: Minimum - Previous Healthcare Experience Preferred - Two (2) years' clinical experience Licenses and Certifications: Minimum - Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations. (RDMS) in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography. Preferred - Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations listed above and RVT CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.
