On-call duty is not required. Weekends are required from Wednesday to Friday and Sunday to Tuesday. Block schedules are required. The expected patient-to-technician ratio is 1:1. The schedule is from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM night shift. This includes working three consecutive nights followed by seven days off. 48-hour work weeks are not approved. The facility type is a short-term acute care facility. Total staff beds are 536. All scrub colors are acceptable. Charting is done using a specific system. This facility does not charge for parking. The department handles a high volume of both inpatient and outpatient cases. Duties include all body imaging, neuro cases, CMR, breast biopsies, functional MRI, and intraoperative imaging. Pediatric imaging is also performed. Candidates should be skilled in various imaging techniques including abdomen, chest, and spine images. The position requires preparation and administration of contrast media. Experience in performing pediatric imaging is preferred. Travelers may need to float to nearby facilities when required. Candidates must commit to working three of five major holidays each year. Inflexibility regarding the assigned schedule may affect contract tenure. References are required from previous supervisory roles covering a year of experience in the last three years.
