Senior Financial Analyst
MRIGlobal is seeking a highly motivated person to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team in Kansas City, MO. The successful candidate will join the MRIGlobal Finance team in pursuit of our mission to improve the lives of people through innovative scientific and engineering research. Our services aid public health and the safety and security of first responders and warfighters.
Principal Accountabilities And Success Factors
This position reports to the Director - Financial Planning and Analysis, and is located in a hybrid arrangement at the MRIGlobal Headquarters in Kansas City, MO. This position interacts and works closely with staff across organizational lines and exhibits the highest degree of professionalism and sensitivity with all subject matters.
Duties include:
- Serve as the financial point of contact for MRIGlobals leadership and Business Unit Directors.
- Provide financial insight to assist with operational and strategic decision-making.
- Complete projects of financial analysis from inception to implementation for internal customers.
- Streamlines internal processes in an environment requiring a strong level of comfort with a dynamic pace.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to other Financial Analysts.
- Analyze opportunities within the sales pipeline.
- Other projects as assigned.
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance or related field with 7 years of related experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Familiarity with Profit and Loss budgeting and analysis
- Relevant experience within Governmental contracting organization
- CPA or MBA
- Experience with IBM Cognos, Deltek Costpoint, or Microsoft Power BI
- Familiarity with US GAAP
The salary range is intended as a general guideline and is not a guaranteed offer, as compensation depends on various factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market conditions.
