Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: New Brunswick, NJ
Schedule: 4X10 Hrs
Shift: Days 2nd shift
Pay Range: $2700 - $2850gross weekly
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort
- Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
- Operate and monitor MRI equipment and related software (1.5T/3T systems preferred)
- Verify patient information and imaging orders; document all required clinical and technical data
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant MRI suite, including regular QA and equipment checks
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other staff across departments
- Follow all MRI safety guidelines including screening for contraindications
- Support a positive patient experience in a cancer-focused environment
- Participate in pre-opening training and support center readiness efforts before go-live.
Education and Certifications:
- Certifications: ARRT (MR) and BLS required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in MRI imaging
- Travelers: First-time travelers welcome
