Location:
This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. Alternate locations may be considered.

Primary Duties:
- Review medical record documentation supporting Evaluation and Management CPT codes.
- Review medical, reimbursement, and editing policies, conduct research, data analysis, and legislative review to support policy development or revision.
- Translate medical policies into reimbursement rules.
- Update CPT/HCPCS codes and fee schedules, analyzing coverage, policy, and reimbursement implications.
- Coordinate research, respond to inquiries and appeals.
- Audit claims systems and system edits for adjudication accuracy.
- Prepare correspondence to providers regarding coding and fee schedule updates.
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC), CEMC, and CEDC encouraged.
