As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team.
Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Maintain vendor files and records
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing tasks related to payables
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing issues
- Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in accounting preferred
- 1+ year of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a dealership or automotive environment
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- $15.50 - $17.50 hourly rate, non-exempt
