Successful applicants will also have a rehabilitation focus, be challenged by psychiatric residents, and enjoy working with elderly and those with special needs. Requirements include an unencumbered Missouri LPN license, current CPR certification, previous LPN experience, and an excellent regulatory compliance record.Shifts Available:Days (7:00 AM- 07:00 PM)Nights (7:00 PM - 07:00 AM)Job Responsibilities:Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and adviceObserve and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physiciansCollaborate with physicians and other nurses to devise individualized care plans for patientsPerform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients' chartsAdjust and administer patient's medication and provide treatments according to physician's ordersRequirements:Proven experience as a Licensed Practical NurseExcellent knowledge of nursing care methods and proceduresIn-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all timesA team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Parkway Health is an EEO Employer - M/F/Disability/Protected Veteran Status
