We are committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where our employees can thrive and grow.Position SummaryWithin the scope the scope of credentials and licensure, LPN / Medical Assistant performs administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Clinical duties include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, administering medications and injections as directed by physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the physician as instructed with patient care during office visits.Perform diagnostic procedures, such as skin testing, pulmonary function testing and drawling blood for laboratory tests.Administer immunotherapy injections and maintain extract and records of treatment.Treat emergency and priority patients, including the use of CPR, if necessary.Assist the physician with patients by telephone, including instructions to sick patients and prescription refills.Assist in management and treatment of reactions which occur secondary to immunotherapy.Maintain an aseptic environment appropriate for medical office.Educate patients on their physical condition, treatment plan, use of equipment and medication deliver devices, environmental controls and any other issues which may affect the patients' care.Other duties as assigned.What We OfferComprehensive Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, and Vision)Health Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Short & Long Term DisabilityHolidays & Paid Time Off (PTO)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Retirement Contribution Program - 401(K) MatchWhat We OfferComprehensive Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, and Vision)Health Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Short & Long Term DisabilityHolidays & Paid Time Off (PTO)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Retirement Contribution Program - 401(K) MatchClinic Hours: AAA ONLYMonday-FridayHalf-Day Fridays (office closes at 12pm)No Weekends!Some Float ExpectationsRequirementsQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent For Medical Assistants: Medical Assistant Certification preferred (required for South Carolina)For Licensed Practical Nurses: Active LPN and unrestricted license in the state of practice requiredCPR Certification preferred (BLS required for South Carolina)Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, preferably in ENT or AllergyProficient in using electronic health records systems and basic computer applications
