Outpatient Facility Coder

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Outpatient Facility Coder with strong experience in same day surgery and observation services coding. This is an excellent opportunity for a coding professional with proven accuracy and productivity, looking to work with a respected organization in a supportive remote environment. Key Responsibilities: Accurately assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes for outpatient facility encounters, including: Same day surgery Observation services Ensure coding compliance in accordance with AHIMA and APC guidelines Meet daily productivity and quality standards by completing 4-6 complex charts per day Collaborate with internal teams to clarify documentation and coding questions as needed Requirements: 3+ years of recent outpatient facility coding experience, with focus on same day surgery and observation AHIMA credentials required (e.g., CCS, RHIT, or RHIA) Strong understanding of APC reimbursement methodology Knowledge of official coding guidelines and payer requirements High attention to detail and accuracy in coding complex cases Reliable high-speed internet and ability to work independently in a remote setting LaSalle Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer m/f/d/v.
