The LA Clippers Youth Basketball Program is looking for responsible, energetic and committed coaches to support Jr. Clippers events (youth basketball clinics, youth basketball tournaments, community activations) and Game Day Shoot 360 activations. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with young athletes and be part of a team shaping the next generation of basketball fans and players in the Los Angeles area.
This is a part-time role based in Inglewood, CA for Intuit Dome games and the surrounding Los Angeles area for skills clinics and camps. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Youth Basketball Coaches must be available to work at least 25% of all shifts per month.
What You Will Do
- Teach basketball fundamentals through skill development drills and activities
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment for participants of all skill levels and ages
- Collaborate with fellow youth basketball coaches to create a fun and engaging atmosphere
- Assist with managing Shoot 360 at Intuit Dome for Clippers home games and interact with fans as they play shooting and passing games
- Previous experience working with youth preferred (coach, camp counselor, or teacher)
- Ability to engage and connect effectively with elementary and middle school students
- Passionate about basketball and enthusiastic about representing the LA Clippers
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to speak in public settings
- Proven leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable, organized, and able to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Ability to adapt quickly to different environments under pressure
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License
- Able to read, write and take directions in English
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and positively interact in a diverse multi-cultural environment
- This position requires participating in physically active programming, frequent bending, ability to move and lift up to 35 pounds, standing for long periods of time, exposure to multiple external elements, and extensive walking.

Opened in August 2024, Intuit Dome is the new home of the LA Clippers and will host hundreds of sporting events and concerts each year. Located in Inglewood, Calif., Intuit Dome is built differentit will redefine fans' expectations for live experiences and change the music landscape in Los Angeles.
Set to host the 2026 NBA All-Star game and Olympic Basketball in 2028, Intuit Dome is over 1 million square feet and features our team training center, business operations offices, five full-sized basketball courts, an 80,000 square foot outdoor plaza and a double-sided Halo Board composed of more than an acre of LED.
Compensation
- $17.87 per hour.
