The Brazosport College Bookstore is seeking a PT cashier for the Java Hut coffee bar.
Position Summary-
Performs routine cashiering and clerking duties, exercising good judgment and customer service skills.
Duties-
Operate all cafe equipment and sell food and beverages complying with all health dept. standards.
Pass a food safety course
Accurately operate a cash register complying with all policies and procedures.
Balance cash drawer ensuring accurate compilation of daily cash reports.
Assist in setting up all merchandise including textbooks & general merchandise.
Maintain general cleanliness of workstations.
Responsibilities for other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements
Experience-
Cashier or retail sales clerk preferred but not required.
Prior restaurant or cafe experience also preferred.
