Job Description

The Claims Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the management of the Fleet Vehicle Safety & Operations Policy for DPR (and related entities) across the US, as well as handling first and third-party auto physical damage and low severity property damage claims under the supervision of DPRs Insured Claims Manager.

Specific Duties Include

• Claims & Incident Management:
• Processing first and third-party auto and property damage incidents, including incident reporting, record keeping, and gathering necessary documentation.
• Reporting claims to insurance policies, analyzing contractual risk transfer opportunities, and liaising with carriers and repair shops.
• Managing auto and property damage claims in the system, updating information, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Fleet Vehicle Safety & Operations Policy Management:
• Managing driver risk scores, assigning and tracking training, maintaining driver lists, and collaborating with HR, Fleet, and EHS teams on policy updates and enforcement.
• Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Strategic thinking, mentorship, integrity, teamwork, strong communication skills, organizational ability, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of relevant insurance coverages.
• Minimum of five years relevant insurance experience, with auto claims management experience preferred.
