The Senior FP&A Analyst role at Dynatrace is integral to the Commercial Finance team, reporting to the Manager of FP&A. The incumbent will join a fast-paced organization, playing a central role in providing financial support and guidance as part of the monthly/quarterly close, forecast activities, and the annual planning process. As the Senior FP&A Analyst, you will own and lead our Forecasting & Business Planning process for Marketing, and act as a key financial and strategic partner for members of the Dynatrace Executive and Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

  • Be a valued and integral part of our global team, engaging with various levels of leadership
  • Support Marketing in driving strategic, operational, and financial insights, including modeling for investments, spend planning, resource management, and business reviews
  • Partner with functional leaders to provide insights that facilitate faster, smarter decisions and more accurate forecasts
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify risks and opportunities in operating plans
  • Conduct monthly variance analyses of budget/forecast versus actuals, explaining variances
  • Assist in the implementation and administration of financial reporting and planning systems

This is a hybrid role based out of our Detroit, MI office (2 days per week).

What Will Help You Succeed

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in finance within a corporate setting, preferably in GTM Finance Business Partner role
  • Bachelors Degree

Preferred Requirements:

  • Strong financial, operational, and analytical skills, with an understanding of SaaS KPIs
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with NetSuite, Anaplan, CRM platforms, and data visualization tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of accounting concepts and experience with month-end close and forecasting cycles
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and develop insightful analysis
  • Attention to detail and ability to prepare reports for executive audiences

Compensation: DOE, $90K - $120K, plus benefits including health, dental, 401K, PTO, and more.
