Position Details

  • Title: AR/Financial Analyst
  • Location: Red Bank, NJ
  • Pay: $29 - $39 an hour

Job Description
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collections and minimize bad debt.
  • Analyze revenue trends, payer performance, and reimbursement variances.
  • Reconcile payments, denials, and adjustments across multiple payers and systems.
  • Collaborate with billing, coding, and clinical teams to resolve discrepancies and improve revenue capture.
  • Prepare monthly AR and revenue reports for leadership, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Assist in month-end close processes, including revenue recognition and journal entries.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews by providing documentation and analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the revenue cycle.
  • Stay current on healthcare billing regulations, payer policies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications
  • 2-4 years experience as an AR/Financial Analyst in the Healthcare industry
  • Experience preparing and posting journal entries
  • Revenue recognition experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
