The Account Underwriter Trainee will:

• Assess risk levels to make underwriting decisions.
• Work with agents to resolve issues.
• Audit existing systems for proper functioning.
• Re-underwrite current risks and take appropriate action.
• Communicate with management regarding issues in each parish.
• Review new business, renewal, and endorsement requests, analyzing all information to determine acceptability based on underwriting guidelines and sound judgment.

Qualifications include:

• Business, management, or agriculture college degree.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Professional communication, customer service, and analytical skills; assertiveness.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and career-focused with high work ethics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willing to work outside normal hours to fulfill responsibilities.
