Essential Purpose and Responsibilities: Essex Brownell is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Analyst to ensure the company's operations comply with applicable federal, state, and international regulations. This role is critical in maintaining our commitment to ethical business practices, environmental responsibility, and product safety across our supply chain and distribution network.

Preferences

- Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements relevant to the company's operations, including OSHA, EPA, DOT, REACH, RoHS, and international trade compliance.
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and regulatory filings.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Procurement, Quality, Legal) to implement compliance initiatives.
- Track and report on regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
- Support product compliance efforts, including labeling, safety data sheets (SDS), and material certifications.
- Assist in preparing for and responding to regulatory inspections or inquiries.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on regulatory compliance topics.
- Prepare or maintain technical files as necessary to obtain and sustain product approval.
- Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Science, Business, Law, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of U.S. and international regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSHA, EPA, REACH, RoHS, TSCA).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) or similar credential.
- Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and customs compliance.
