We offer personalized medication management for patients in a facility and at home so they can live healthier and happier lives.As an IV Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the IV Manager with the day-to-day operational needs of the Infusion department, adhering to the company's quality and customer service standards, policies and procedures, state and federal guidelines.Location:Onsite 962 S Dorset Rd, Troy, OH 45373Schedule: 3:00PM - 11:30PM, Monday - Friday (one holiday a year and one weekend shift a month)What We Offer:Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (as low as $13.33/pay)Paid Time OffFree Virtual Care - Telemedicine401k with company matchClosed-door Pharmacy - No more face-to-face meetings with customersReferral BonusesLife InsuranceMake a difference in the lives of others!We are growing and that means more opportunitiesKey Responsibilities:Filling IV orders to include, but not limited to, mixing IV medications, mathematically calculating doses, applying all sterile techniques as applicable to the jobSending supplies and equipment to facilitiesMaintaining all IV mixing records.Performing regular cleaning and maintenance check on all equipmentProgramming of all infusion pumpsData entry of all applicable I.V. ordersResponsible for the ordering of supplies from various vendorsPerform other tasks as requiredPerform technician assignments as requested by the pharmacy managementMaintain all IV pharmacy related equipment and supplies in the equipment rental logActively contributes to the evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies and proceduresAssists with ensuring safety policy and procedures are practiced and adhered.Participates in special projects to identify and implement operational improvementsAbility to work with others in a positive productive manner anticipates and responds to the position's areas of responsibilitiesQualifications:High School graduate or equivalent requiredCurrent National/State Pharmacy Certification required, basic computer knowledge skills required, must understand medical terminology, math and analytical skillsPrevious pharmacy technician experience required. Sterile compounding experience preferredMust be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written with English as the primary languageSkills & Abilities:Strong computer skillsThorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledgeMath and analytical skills, with a focus on calculationsMinimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not requiredRemedi is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
