Description:Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.DragEditDeleteProvides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.DragEditDeleteOperates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.DragEditDeleteMaintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.DragEditDeleteKeeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smoothQualifications:Minimum EducationGraduate of Diagnostic Radiology Program requiredDragEditDeleteRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.DragEditDeleteRequired SkillsAmerican Heart Association or American Red Cross Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.DragEditDeleteRequired SkillsLicense: Registered and in good standing with ARRT in Rad and/or credentialed through ARDMS or registry eligibleDragEditDeleteMinimum Work ExperienceSix months experience routinely performing a wide array of ultrasound procedures (including vascular imaging, XRay Experience preferred), and/or a minimum of three years on-the-job training
