Lead Mammography TechJob Summary:Leads in areas of responsibility within the rules and regulations of State and Federal agencies. Assists in planning, organizing, staffing and evaluation.Shares responsibility for the development, interpretation, application and implementation of departmental policies, budget and strategic plans. Achieves departmental/organizational objectives and improvement opportunities by providing quality diagnostic services.Operates X-ray equipment and performs various mammography related procedures.Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining records and files, and cleaning and adjusting equipment as needed .Maintains staff scheduling for services offered per department procedures.
