Radiographer (RAD Tech), Full TimeBring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + TogetherWork location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093Work hours: PRN, Rotating Shifts; 1 Holiday, NO CALLRadiology Department Highlights:Variety of exams performed: Fluoroscopy, OR, TraumaComprehensive Stroke CenterTrauma CenterFast paced high acuity and volume facility around 150 exams a dayCollaborative Radiologist Group Here's What You NeedGraduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology upon hire required orAssociate's Degree preferred1 Year radiologic technologist experience preferredCMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required andARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire requiredBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredOther - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency requiredWhat You Will Do•Explain procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to exam•Position patient to correct anatomical area of interest•Perform complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations•Adjust technique parameters appropriately for age related factors•Assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique•Maintain attention to details•Process and manipulate images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed•Utilize proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS / RIS•Correctly send and transfer images to PACS•Print laser images from modality or PACS•Coordinate with Centralized Scheduling and other modalities Since 1991, Texas Health Plano has served the communities of Plano, Frisco, Carrollton, Addison, Richardson, and McKinney.
