The candidate should be focused on achieving individual and team productivity goals while maintaining a high level of accuracy. The position follows a schedule of Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with initial training on the day shift for approximately six months.Key Responsibilities Placing, packing, pouring, or putting in a container for dispensing, sale, distribution, transfer of possession, vending, or bartering of any drug requiring prescription. Affixing labels to containers as required for drugs dispensed by a practitioner's prescription. Managing the pharmacy shelves by selecting, taking, and replacing drugs as legally required. Preparing labels for containers of prescribed medications. Entering information into the pharmacy computer system, with all entries verified by a supervising pharmacist. Obtaining prescriber authorization for prescription refills without changes. Prepackaging and labeling of medication, under pharmacist-established procedures.
