Nurses will work alongside providers and clinical teams to develop treatment criteria and goals. Nursing will assist in assessing medication efficacy and physical assessments. Nursing will arrange and assist with community appointmentsPearl Youth Residency: is one of 5 Children's Long-term Inpatient Programs (CLIP) in the state and we serve youth ages 12-18 who have demonstratedan inabilityto maintain safety in their home or community.ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing and medical services to clientsProvide education regarding prescribed treatmentDocument in the progress notes the provision of care and the clinical and behavioral observations of clientsAdminister and document medications, adhering to state and program guidelinesProvide first aid and emergency medical care as needed, following program guidelinesTranscribe provider orders, following program protocols Measure and document client vital signsOther duties within the scope of practice as outlined by the Washington State Board of NursingAttend all mandatory meetingsMaintain licensure, certification and other requirements for the position.Observe and assess clients in terms of therapeutic response to medication and the nursing care plan.Assist clients with activities of daily living as appropriate Assist in monitoring and documenting medical supplies, floor stock, and pharmacy communication.Assist in all aspects of the laboratory specimen, collection and throughput.Adhere to program's infection control policy and protocols.
