StaffBright is partnering with a long-standing client located near Farmington Hills, MI , to hire a Corporate Tax Analyst for their corporate headquarters. This is a newly created position.
The ideal candidate will have one year of experience in public accounting and one year in a corporate tax environment .
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage all aspects of tax matters, including accounting, compliance, forecasting, and planning
- Oversee indirect taxes, payroll taxes, and related filings
- Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax regulations
- Lead tax forecasting and planning initiatives
- Handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Work independently with strong organizational and time management skills
What We'll Need from You:
- 2-4 years of experience working in a tax role
- Familiarity with U.S. federal and state tax regulations
- Experience with various tax types (income, sales/use, property, payroll)
- Skilled in tax research and analysis
- CPA is highly preferred
