Role Overview

The Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst will work with the Broad Markets Team to implement investment strategies in client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders for timely execution of investment strategies.
• Rebalance portfolios based on investment strategies, cash flows, benchmark changes, and market movements.
• Monitor positions and ensure transactions align with client guidelines.
• Collaborate with various firm areas to enhance processes and reduce operational risks.
• Monitor performance, risk exposures, and market sensitivities of portfolio positions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in fixed income, preferably as a Guideline Monitoring or Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst.
• Strong understanding and interest in fixed income investing.
• Advanced analytical skills with a quantitative orientation.
• Proficient programming skills in Python preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with investment professionals.
• Creative thinking and initiative in improving strategy implementation.
• Undergraduate degree required; post-graduate degree or relevant qualifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
