Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with US reporting for global employee share plan requirements.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Excellent time management skills during tight deadlines.
  • Ability to proactively engage and collaborate with global colleagues to build positive rapport and contribute as an effective team member.
  • Analytical, accurate, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to challenge business deficiencies identified through the tax production process vocally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate issues clearly.
  • Previous experience with employee share plans and tax production is advantageous.
  • Comfortable with technology and technical concepts in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Aptitude for quick learning, with a solid understanding of the Internet, e-commerce, and equities.
  • Strong belief in team success, collaboration, and adaptability to change.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • At least 1 year of tax or operations experience.
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all withholding and reporting obligations are met.
  • Perform data reviews, manage tax forms, and interact with internal/external clients and vendors.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of 1099/1042-S reporting.
  • Perform IRS and State withholding reconciliation tasks.
  • Update Excel files for accurate reporting values.
  • Ensure participant data accuracy.
  • Obtain approvals, document, and confirm successful submissions per jurisdiction.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and reporting for Corporate Clients and Shareworks.
  • Review IRS and State filings for accuracy.
  • Contribute to the annual tax production project plan.
  • Test tax forms issued from Shareworks for accuracy.
  • Manage special handling requirements, including tax form amendments.
  • Audit tax form generation for completeness.
  • Provide project updates to the Tax Manager.
  • Update processes and procedures as needed.
