Responsibilities include assisting with patient preparation and transport, ensuring readiness for imaging procedures, managing and documenting patient information, and collaborating in all areas of daily operations. This role also involves maintaining a safe and organized environment. Flexibility, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset are essential in providing seamless support to the CT department.Essential Functions:Responsible for placing & removing IVs on all patients coming to CT that do not already have one. (30%)Transport patients to and from CT suite whether from a waiting room area, ED room, or other location. (30%)Ensures patient has all jewelry removed prior to scan and patient is gowned appropriately based on CT scan type. (20%)Primary point of contact and schedule coordinator for phone calls, Epic messages, and Epic status board for CT imaging scans. (5%)Responsible for getting patients on and off CT table. Cleaning table and preparing for the next patient. (5%)Scrub CT schedule in advance to prepare for any additional services a patient may need (i.e. interpreter services requests, CT contrast prep, etc.). (5%)Responsible for stocking supplies for CT suites. (5%)Education:High School Diploma or GED RequiredWork Experience:1-3 years of experience in a patient care setting, with preferred emphasis on prior experience in a procedural/surgical setting.
