The SG&A Finance Analyst will report directly to the FP&A Finance Manager. This role is a hybrid position based out of our NYC HQ office, we currently have a 2-3 days per week in office requirement.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Key business partner to the Marketing team, responsible for accurately accounting for, understanding, managing, forecasting and reporting spend down to vendor level detail
  • Support the accounting, forecasting/budgeting and reporting of other SG&A lines, working closely with stakeholders across the business to improve accuracy and understanding, ensuring spend aligns with strategic priorities
  • Deliver monthly variance analysis of SG&A results, providing detailed understanding and commentary which is presented live to Leadership Team members on a monthly basis
  • Investigate unusual variances and work across teams, particularly the Accounting Team, to resolve as needed
  • Support ad hoc projects to improve business efficiency
Qualifications:
  • Years of Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Education Required : Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Key Skills & Abilities:
    • Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking ability
    • Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
    • Skilled in simplifying complex finance concepts for broader audiences
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
    • Expertise in financial modeling and both quantitative and qualitative analysis
    • Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and comfortable working both independently and with senior leadership
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with SAP and TM1 a plus
  • CPG or Beverage Industry experience a plus
  • PowerBI experience a plus

At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.
