Executive Recruiter: Accounting and Finance
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a family office to hire a Staff Accountant in Woodside, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledgers for the various entities associated with the Family
- Oversee and manage the bill pay process for all entities related to the Family; coordinating payments via approval flows within Bill.com
- Reconcile credit card, bank, and brokerage accounts monthly for various entities/trusts
- Assist with process to track real estate and personal property tax payments for multiple residential properties and related property-owning entities; ensure accurate recordkeeping to substantiate the tax basis in the properties
- Manage the annual 1099 and 1096 filing process
- Support the Controller in compilation of the annual tax reporting package for the Principals, their children, and multiple entities/trusts
- Implement and assist with current (and future) software integrations like Bill.com and QBO
- Monitor cash flow, manage accounting projects, and oversee the check deposit process
- Assist with the creation of new entities and bank accounts along with property purchases and insurance paperwork
- Maintain detailed electronic records and file paths
- Manage vendor files for all entities
- Manage entries related to inter-company transactions across the organization accurately in the accounting system of both the sending and receiving entities and process payments accordingly
- Prioritize urgent mail items such as payment reminders, tax deadlines, or regulatory notices.
- Ensure these items are brought to the attention of the recipients
Qualifications:
- Well rounded background in general accounting
- Ideally AP experience but also open to AR or GL
- Comfortable with dogs--office has 2 small dogs

This posting is a representative sample of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $100,000-$105,000 and benefits may include Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance and 401k with Matching.
