Facility: OrthoIndy South, Greenwood, IN Department: CodingShift Details: Full Time, Mon-Fri 8-5pmAt OrthoIndy everything we do is about creating a caring, connected and committed workforce that directly improves the quality of life for our employees and customers.Be part of something great!General Statement of Duties:The Clinic Coder is responsible for reviewing medical record documentation, posting charges consisting of CPT codes, ICD-10 diagnosis codes, and appropriate modifiers.Essential Duties:Posts clinic charges.Reviews medical record documentation for accuracy to support billing.Informs manager of compliance problems or issues.Communicates with Physician and staff when query needed on patient charges.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED required, specialty training beyond high school preferred1-2 years of related experience required, 2-4 years of experience preferredCertified Professional Coder certification or Certified Coding Specialist Physician-based certification requiredOrthoIndy is an Equal Opportunity Employer
