The Silkscreen Operator is responsible for safely setting up, maintaining, and operating a silk screen machine to apply ink labels and graphics to bottles prior to filling. Responsibilities Include: Set up machines by positioning screens properly and checking the alignment of ink designs. Mix inks to proper colors and standards by following the formula book and Pantone color chart, weighing and measuring accurately, and checking by visual reference to standard. Run samples and verify ink is curing properly. Maintain production run by placing bottles onto the line, checking quality periodically, and refilling inks, as needed. Make mechanical adjustments to machines, as needed. Remove the finished product, stack boxes on pallets, and tag. Log all orders and pallets by the RF gun. Log all orders and issues in the red zone Keep the area clean by cleaning screens before storing, putting away supplies and materials, checking and filing paperwork, and sweeping, as needed. Communicate effectively with others. Perform other duties as assigned. Ability to read and write English and/or Spanish. Bilingual is a plus. ***General Requirements*** General responsibilities when working a Production job assignment can include: Operate production equipment according to standard operating procedures Follow run instructions and report any issues to supervisors Perform basic maintenance on production equipment Complete and maintain any work logs as needed Monitor quality of output produced, raise any issues with supervisors Maintain stock levels to ensure consistent production Maintain a clean and tidy work area Follow all safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe work environment Follow all dress code guidelines when working in a production role (no long nails, no loose fitting clothing or jewelry)
