Job Description American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least one year of MRI experience and ARRT MR certification for a rotating 12-hour shift position using Siemens equipment. Responsibilities Short-term acute care hospital setting with MRI Operating Room (IMRIS involvement)Day (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) and night (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) shifts; rotating 12-hour scheduleWork with a variety of patient populations, including outpatient, inpatient, ER, Level 1 trauma, NICU, and adult ICUUse Siemens MRI scanners including Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, VidaCharting is done in EPIC; Epic experience preferredInitially, training is provided on days before transitioning to independent 12-hour shiftsExpect flexibility during orientation with the potential for 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts based on case loadCaseload per tech is typically 100-150 cases during orientation; expect 1-2 cases per day initiallyNo call, weekends, or holidays required, though may work one Saturday per month if neededFloating within hospital is required; no floating to sister facilitiesApplicants must live at least 75 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted2 months of training are provided before independent scanning; coverage balance intended for long contract assignmentsFirst-time travelers are acceptedMaximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract; no RTO permitted during first weekBlack scrubs requiredFacial hair must allow for proper fit testing for PPEReturn staff must wait 1 year before returning to any facility as a travelerAllied travelers limited to a 12 month period with a mandatory 6 month break following assignmentTravelers may be required to float within their service line as neededParking information will be provided during orientation; night shift parking is free, otherwise parking passes are required and not reimbursedEPIC charting experience preferred for this role Requirements ARRT MR certification and BLS requiredAt least 1 year of experience in MRIExperience with Siemens MRI equipment requiredPreferred: experience with IV starts and PACSPreferred: experience in OR, interventional MRI, HiFU, and a variety of case types including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, breast, and musculoskeletalMust be able to work with multiple Siemens software platformsExperience at academic teaching and trauma level hospitals preferredLicense required if applicable; Missouri or appropriate compact state license required for MO, Illinois candidates may submit with pending licenseSSN and DOB required for considerationNo local candidates accepted within 75 miles Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 OptionsGenerous Housing AllowanceNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUs401(k) PlanTraveler Rewards and DiscountsTravel and Licensure Reimbursements
