Implement care to prevent or reduce risk and to achieve expected outcomes. Report and document nursing care given and patient response, recognizing any alterations in patient needs and intervening accordingly. Serve as a patient and family advocate, demonstrating respect for the privacy and rights of the patient and family in the implementation of the care plan. Prepare and utilize equipment and materials efficiently and cost effectively.
