We are now hiring a Full-Time Workers' Compensation Specialist in Princeton, NJ . The Worker's Compensation Specialist will serve a critical role in the Benefits department, as a part of the Human Resources team, managing workers' compensation claims, organization wide.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day management and litigation of the workers' compensation (WC) claims
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of auto liability claims
- Responsible for initial incident reporting and document management
- First point of contact for employee claim inquiries
- Provide administrative and employment updates to the TPA to bring claims to closure
- Oversee WC claim investigations and provide recommendations to the TPA to expedite resolution
- Provide quarterly claims reviews and periodic updates to regional management
- Oversee the organization's Return-to-Work/light duty program
- Take lead on workers' compensation management initiatives pertaining to treatment and care of our employees
- Management of occupational health programs and administration for WC claims
- Management of WC time hours/payout
- Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met
- Employees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation
- All other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
