Responsibilities: Design, develop, document, test, and debug application software. Conduct analysis and collaborate with subject matter experts in planning, designing, developing, and utilizing electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting. The end product may be specialized, customized, or commercial software. Determine computer user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls; prepare operating instructions; design and develop autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs. Ensure software standards are met. Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Participate with senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Recommend and make decisions on administrative or project work matters and ensure effective achievement of program, project, or organizational objectives. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science with a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with at least 12 years, or PhD with at least 9 years of relevant experience. Proven experience in Software Engineering (Java, Python, C++, or other Object-Oriented languages), Kubernetes, AWS, Azure Cloud, etc. Ability to obtain an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Minimum 14 years of progressive software engineering and architectural design for large-scale enterprise software projects. At least 2 years of IC or DoD experience designing and deploying large-scale enterprise software solutions for operational missions. Minimum 1 year of SAP experience working across complex mission partners and classified programs. Expertise in Agile methodology and processes at scale, with an emphasis on Enterprise Software Engineering. Expertise in modern commercial enterprise software engineering practices, including continuous integration, testing, delivery, and deployment at scale. Expertise in DevSecOps, SRE, and vertical slice development approaches and best practices. Effective management and leadership experience with large-scale programs involving multiple agile development teams and comprehensive scaled integration and deployment pipelines (more than 100 personnel). Excellent communication skills with leadership, stakeholders, and development/industry communities. Knowledge of IC, DoD, Air Force, Space Force, or SSC processes and procedures for delivering systems to production environments. Familiarity with highly available, scalable cloud solutions (IaaS and PaaS) within the commercial industry. Familiarity with scalable Data as a Service (DaaS) solutions within the commercial industry. Demonstrated expertise through publications, patents, or advanced degrees. U.S. citizenship required. Qualifications: Experience with SSC or mission partner space control or space situational awareness programs is preferred.
