Job Description Summary The Workday Solutions Manager will enhance the GE Aerospace Workday HCM system, focusing on system consulting, product ownership, process design, functionality enhancements, and policy development. A successful candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of best practices and how Workday integrates with other systems, alongside a strong understanding of our business to effectively meet end-user needs. This role will play a vital part in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to streamline business efficiencies by standardizing and automating processes through the innovative Workday HCM platform. Essential Responsibilities: Manage Workday system updates, configure business processes/workflows, and oversee security and testing based on defined business requirements. Act as a liaison between vendors and internal teams to clarify requirements and implement system changes efficiently. Contribute to strategy design, future enhancements, and the development of policies and processes. Create, review, and update system documentation, training materials, and communication plans for changes or new implementations. Conduct thorough problem analysis, including problem recreation, to achieve prompt resolutions. Troubleshoot and resolve system and integration issues by identifying root causes and deploying corrective measures to prevent future occurrences. Explore, recommend, implement, and support functionality aimed at reducing errors and promoting continuous improvement. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Workday functionality and keep abreast of the latest developments in Workday and competing solutions. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience with HR Systems support and testing; Workday proficiency is essential. Desired Characteristics: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills capable of conveying complex information understandably. Ability to analyze and resolve problems with innovative solutions. Customer service oriented with a focus on open dialogue regarding business needs. Understanding of how system design influences processes in and beyond Workday. Quick decision-making abilities driven by the goal of achieving business results. Pay and Benefits: The base pay range for this position is $96,900 - $140,000. The actual pay will be influenced by various factors, including experience, education, and skills. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of the base salary or commission per the plan.
