We are looking for team members who are passionate about delivering industry-leading experiences to our customers and supplying turn-key solutions for any HVAC, refrigeration, critical environment, custom metal fabrication, energy performance, or specialty mechanical project.

As an Asset Manager, you will have a vital role in managing the maintenance, operation, and overall condition of the organization's vehicle fleet and facilities. You will ensure that all assets are maintained to high standards of safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance while also being cost-effective. Additionally, you will oversee service contracts related to buildings, fleet management, and major equipment, ensuring optimal performance and value for the organization.

What We Ask of You:

Fleet Management

Oversee the Fleet Management Company (FMC) relationship, coordinating repairs and services

Maintain fleet records through the FMC portal

Manage the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of vehicles

Develop preventative maintenance programs with timely inspections

Track fuel, mileage, and repair costs; implement cost-control strategies

Handle vehicle registration, insurance, and licensing

Prepare and manage fleet budgets

Collaborate with FMC to improve fleet reliability and reduce costs

Negotiate pricing with vehicle manufacturers

Create vehicle selectors focusing on reliability and low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

Ensure compliance with DOT, EPA, OSHA, and other regulations

Facilities Management

Supervise daily operations of facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment

Schedule and manage routine and emergency maintenance and repairs

Oversee contracts and relationships with third-party service providers (e.g., HVAC, janitorial, landscaping)

Ensure compliance with building codes, health, safety, and environmental regulations

Develop and manage facilities budgets and capital improvement projects

Monitor facility usage and space planning; recommend and implement improvements

Experience & Competencies:

: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Certification in Facility Management (e.g., IFMA, FMP, CFM) or Fleet Management (e.g., NAFA, CAFM) is a plus

5+ years of experience in fleet and/or facilities management

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, DOT, ADA)

Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet/facility management software

Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with regional leadership to support resource needs

Experience with sustainability and energy/cost-efficiency initiatives

Ability to coordinate efforts across teams to achieve company objectives

Capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs in various environmental conditions

Occasional travel between sites and for vendor meetings required

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned by your manager

Must have the integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to represent Danforth in the most professional, positive manner

Danforth offers a competitive benefits package for eligible employees including medical, dental, vision, life, , paid time off, 401(k), with company match, and participation in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The estimated compensation range for this role is $85,000-$100,000. This range is based on several factors, including individual education, qualifications, training, prior work experience, and work location.
