Description The System Administrator provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes. Supports day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem diagnosis and resolution. Communicates status updates to management and internal customers. Supports dispatch system and hardware issues, remaining involved in resolution. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows OS, installs and troubleshoots OS software, maintains system integrity, and configures network components, implementing OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Clearance A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position. Experience Fifteen (15) years' experience as a SA in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university is required. An additional five (5) years of SA experience may substitute for a degree. The salary range is $225,000 - $270,000, depending on experience and education.
