Position Summary
As a Senior Principal Software Engineer, you will work on cutting-edge applications and products that aim to transform the pharmaceutical and health care landscape. In this role, you will:
Collaborate with application owners, business partners, and cross-functional teams to develop innovative technical solutions that align with business needs.
Analyze and contribute to project requirements while prioritizing product milestones.
Lead end-to-end application development and deployment, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.
Create robust, flexible, and maintainable solutions that are delivered on time.
Utilize modern technologies to develop cloud-native applications using Spring Boot, GCP, REST APIs, and more.
Integrate solutions that connect modern and legacy systems, including streaming platforms like Apache Kafka.
Utilize GraphQL schema and APIs to enhance application performance and scalability.
Apply AI/ML techniques to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
Implement CI/CD practices with tools such as GitHub, CircleCI, and Harness across leading cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Ensure the application’s health by monitoring KPIs and addressing production issues as they arise.
Advocate for security best practices and apply industry standards in your work.
Key Qualifications:
10+ years of software development experience.
5+ years of backend development with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and NodeJS.
5+ years of database experience with both relational (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
5+ years of experience in designing and delivering scalable microservices-based applications.
Proven track record in collaborating with architecture and product teams to influence development decisions.
Experience with CI/CD practices and automated testing frameworks (e.g., JBehave, Cucumber).
4+ years of experience with cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
1+ years of experience with GraphQL APIs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the healthcare domain.
Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and process automation.
Proven ability to build and manage large-scale distributed systems.
Strong mentorship and coaching skills for engineering teams.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and learn new technologies.
Solid understanding of observability practices and using telemetry data for decision-making.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience). Compensation:
The typical pay range for this role is $144,200.00 - $288,400.00. This pay range represents the base salary for this position. Actual salary offers will depend on various factors, including experience and education. This role is eligible for bonuses and equity awards. Benefits:
