As a Mixed Methods UX Research Specialist, you will play a crucial role in this mission, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape experiences that resonate globally. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating closely with product and business teams to pinpoint key research topics. Serving as a thought leader in research domains while advocating for the end users of our products. Designing and implementing comprehensive primary research utilizing various qualitative and quantitative methods. Creating studies that delve into user behavior and attitudes. Managing and prioritizing research plans in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, aligning insights with stakeholder needs. Effectively communicating research findings and recommendations in engaging formats. Working synergistically with design, product management, content strategy, engineering, and marketing teams. Generating actionable insights that inspire ideation and evaluate design processes. Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience in user experience, applied research, or product research and development; or a Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience. Experience conducting in-depth interviews, focus groups, concept testing, or usability testing. Proficiency in coding languages such as R, SQL, STATA, or SPSS. Knowledge in applying statistical analysis methods such as regressions, ANOVA, and T-Tests. A genuine interest in conducting hands-on primary research. Strong ability to translate research findings into compelling narratives. Proven experience thriving in a fast-paced environment, eager to learn new research methods while adhering to rigorous standards of quality. Demonstrated capability to work independently, seeking feedback and collaboration where beneficial. Preferred qualifications include: Experience in consumer products, insights, or product development. Degrees in human behavior-related fields such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics. The salary for this role ranges from $138,000 to $192,000 annually, plus bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
