Job Description The Lead Business Analyst is key to defining design requirements and specifications for IT Construction projects linked to land-based resorts operating in conjunction with cruise ships. This role is essential for aligning technology, design, and business objectives, ensuring that the product designs meet user needs and technical viability. You will provide insights to optimize design, scope, and budgets to support the execution team’s success. This is a contract position with a hybrid model based in Miramar, FL. Due to legal and contractual prerequisites, this position will be directly employed by CAI. Unfortunately, we cannot offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future. What You’ll Do Collaborate with IT Product teams to transform innovative product ideas into user stories, epics, and essential design deliverables, including project briefs and scope documents. Ensure alignment of project requirements with IT and construction standards while supporting the execution team with thorough documentation, industry research, reports, analytics, performance tracking, logistics, testing, and coordination of site capability requirements. Engage with IT integration and service vendors (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Regulatory) as well as internal and external stakeholders including architects, marine engineers, turnkey suppliers, construction contractors, and outfitters. Work with product managers, designers, and architects to assess technical feasibility, evaluate system requirements, identify risks, and propose effective solutions. Act as a subject matter expert in IT systems and digital tools. Utilize analytics tools to collect and analyze user data, guiding product design decisions. Monitor KPIs and suggest enhancements to improve usability and efficiency. Facilitate communication between IT and design teams to synchronize project timelines, requirements, and deliverables. Clearly convey technical constraints and opportunities to non-technical stakeholders. Establish best practices integrating IT and design processes, championing Agile methodologies for fast prototyping and iteration. Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system workflows and specifications. Generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders to monitor progress and identify areas for enhancement. Assist in creating project estimates under managerial supervision, ensuring proficient resource utilization and accountability regarding financial implications and costs of systems and services. What You'll Need Required: 5+ years of experience in IT and/or Hospitality. Experience handling significant IT infrastructure projects or large-scale enterprise implementations. Familiarity with technical, user, and business challenges in a fast-paced, large organization. Proficient in creating requirement documentation and project artifacts. Exceptional communication and analytical abilities, including at the executive level. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; adept at using data and metrics for project deliverables. Strategic thinking capability with a proactive approach to driving ideas into action. Preferred: 3+ years of product management experience. Previous involvement in projects within construction environments. Physical Demands Ability to perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA and other standards. Primarily sedentary role, requiring sitting or remaining stationary with some movement around the office. Proficiency in repetitive tasks involving a computer, keyboard, mouse, and monitor. The pay range for this position is $46.00-50.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on multiple factors, including location, experience, and educational background.
