As a Senior Systems Architect, your primary responsibility will be to architect, design, and construct enterprise-class Business Intelligence solutions that elevate our supply chain processes. Job Responsibilities: Develop and deliver architectural guardrails, influence stakeholders, and ensure compliance across technology domains tailored to project needs, particularly in CRM enhancements. Design hybrid architectures that integrate on-premises SAP systems (such as SAP ECC, OER, HANA) with modern cloud-native microservices utilizing API management and containerization. Guide migration strategies for merging on-premises SAP infrastructure with cloud solutions to boost supply chain agility and scalability. Optimize on-premise infrastructure while working in coordination with cloud-native architectures to facilitate digital transformation. Ensure comprehensive system integration, focusing on SAP interactions with supply chain applications like WMS and TMS. Drive the evolution of infrastructure, processes, products, and services. Create and implement development processes, management plans, and educational programs for team members. Act as a mentor, promoting best practices and identifying training opportunities that align with enterprise goals. Serve as a subject matter expert, guiding technology strategy and collaborating with decision-makers across various domains. Engage with business and technical teams to comprehend requirements and devise effective solutions. Provide architectural insights during RFI and RFP processes, ensuring clarity and coherence. Validate data sources, design validation scripts, and communicate findings effectively. Draft architecture and technical design documents, creating High-Level Solution Designs for enterprise projects to present to leadership. Develop proofs-of-concept and prototypes to validate designs. Prepare visual diagrams to illustrate architecture, functionality, and workflows. Coordinate with development, infrastructure, testing, and support teams throughout the implementation process. Educate the organization on emerging tools and technologies that can enhance our operations. Adapt communication styles to present solutions effectively to clients and stakeholders. Manage tasks meticulously, prioritize workloads, and ensure timely deliverables. Assess the impact of new requirements on complex applications thoughtfully. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to define the service delivery landscape. Work within large organizations under tight deadlines, coordinating with DBA teams for environment setups as necessary. Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Technology or a related field. 4-7+ years of experience with enterprise database systems, especially Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server. Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, Supply Chain Planning, Order Management, and Warehouse Logistics. Experience with messaging services, REST, GraphQL, API, and file-based interfaces. Proficiency in networking, security protocols, virtualization, and database architecture, particularly for SAP and cloud environments. Deep understanding of supply chain management and the technological support of business processes. Project management skills with experience in leading large initiatives and facilitating stakeholder communications. Analytical and problem-solving abilities for navigating complex technical challenges. Excellent communication skills, suitable for collaborating with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of infrastructure design principles, high availability solutions, scalability techniques, disaster recovery strategies, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Database Management, Data Modeling, SQL, Customer Service Management, Problem Solving, Microsoft Office proficiency, and Information Architecture (all required). At T-Mobile, we welcome applicants who are at least 18 years of age and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. This position may require travel. The base pay range for this role is $102,000 - $184,000, with a corporate bonus target of 15%. Individual compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience. Most employees are eligible for annual or performance-based bonuses.
