We are currently seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer to play a pivotal role in transforming health care technology. You will leverage our extensive repository of healthcare data, spanning over 150 million individuals, to address complex business challenges and develop cutting-edge data products and software. Key Responsibilities: Enhance member experiences by identifying opportunities for automation and innovation. Collaborate with the Data Science & Products team to understand operational workflows and requirements. Make informed design decisions for both UI and backend systems. Develop and manage high-volume data pipelines using modern tools and technologies. Work on query optimization, data structure management, and workload processes. Build front-end applications using frameworks such as Angular or React. Implement containerized solutions and serverless computing in major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure). Utilize real-time and streaming technologies to enhance data processing capabilities. Engage with stakeholders to solicit complex requirements and effectively manage relationships. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in big data and cloud architecture. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases. Strong skills in Python or similar scripting languages. Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines. Understanding of query optimization, data structures, and metadata management. 3+ years of experience in front-end development using Angular, React, or similar frameworks. 2+ years of experience in cloud-based data pipeline construction. Hands-on experience in containerized environments. Familiarity with real-time data technologies like Azure Event Hubs and Kafka. 3+ years in relationship management with key stakeholders. 2+ years of experience in independently managing deliverables. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with LLMs and Gen AI models. Designing data engineering solutions in cloud environments. API/Microservices development experience. Familiarity with DevOps practices such as Git and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of agile and waterfall software development methodologies. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Google Professional Data Engineer/Architect Certification is a plus. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning or a related field. Master's Degree is preferred. The anticipated work hours for this full-time position are 40 hours per week.
