A Typical Day...
As a Multi-Unit Team Supervisor, you will lead three H&R Block tax offices. Using your people management experience and passion for helping others, you will support customer-centric teams to enhance their seasonal tax business. This role involves:
Managing staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.
Partnering with the District General Manager (DGM) to implement growth plans and client growth targets, fostering local partnerships and community involvement.
Assisting in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions.
Conducting performance reviews and resolving associate issues in collaboration with the Associate Relations Center.
Building an engaging team environment by training and coaching associates, recognizing outstanding contributions.
Leading daily team meetings and sharing crucial information with associates.
Creating work schedules and ensuring accurate timekeeping and labor management across offices.
Traveling between offices as required.
Preparing tax returns as needed, following the successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Your Expertise:
Proven people management experience with a focus on associate growth and development.
Aptitude for executing growth plans and fostering a culture of growth.
Strong decision-making and judgment skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset that prioritizes client needs.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant computer skills.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course if preparing tax returns.
