Survey Instrument Technician

for long-term opportunities who is eager to contribute to significant construction projects and be part of a dynamic team. This role includes exciting travel and new experiences! Key Details: Company vehicle and equipment provided Travel and accommodations covered by Phasor 20 days on, 10 days off rotation Responsibilities: Operate and maintain survey instruments such as: Robotic Total Stations GPS/GNSS Receivers (Static and RTK, RTX) Data Collectors (e.g., Trimble) Levels, Prism Rods, and Magnetic Locators Assist in various surveys (boundary, topographic, construction layout, etc.) Download and organize field data for processing Maintain daily field notes and sketches Ensure equipment is calibrated and operational Train junior crew members Follow safety protocols and participate in job safety assessments (JSAs) Interpret design drawings, field data, and base maps Travel based on project location Requirements: Previous survey experience in engineering, construction, or industrial settings High school diploma or GED (post-secondary coursework in geomatics is a plus) Familiarity with construction plans Ability to read and interpret survey drawings and maps Strong understanding of field survey methods Physically fit to work in various outdoor conditions Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record Benefits: Competitive compensation Comprehensive health coverage including dental and vision insurance 401(k) with matching Paid vacation and personal days Opportunities for growth and advancement Access to the latest technology and equipment Work on large-scale engineering and construction projects in a fast-paced environment Phasor Engineering LLC is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to fostering a diverse workforce.
