We are searching for a strategic thinker passionate about optimizing supply chains and developing innovative logistics solutions. As a Solutions Design Manager, you will play a crucial role in transforming client operations. In this remote position, you will: Collaborate with business development teams to create tailored, scalable, and efficient logistics solutions based on client needs. Design comprehensive operational and technical solutions, including cost models and blueprints for warehousing and distribution, ensuring optimal layouts, workflows, and resource utilization. Conduct thorough analyses of client data to develop quantifiable activity flows, process maps, and labor productivity, incorporating automation, robotics, and IT concepts. Support project management throughout implementation, facilitating a smooth transition from design to steady-state operations while providing ongoing guidance. Perform financial feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments to ensure proposed solutions meet financial goals and support proposal development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a solutions design role within logistics, warehousing, or related sectors. Proficiency with industry-standard Contract Logistics Cost Models; experience with AutoCAD and simulation software is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data analysis and the ability to devise efficient, cost-effective solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly to clients and internal teams. Understanding of project management principles, showcasing the ability to work effectively within tight deadlines and budgets.
